In 1916 a Carnegie grant of $6000 was received & the townspeople raised $2000 more to purchase 3 lots from Mr. Buckingham, where the present Carnegie Library brick building was built at 102 S Main.  The Carnegie Library was dedicated on 4-5-17.  Today our library contains over 19,000 volumes of books, 275 cassette books, over 600 videos, over 80 magazines, multiple newspapers, 5 computers, and a fax & copier machine.  Activities include story hour & a summer reading program.
